Fight for better sound quality, Harman enters the fray

Sean Olive has started a discussion: The Distortion of Sound on Linked In leading with a short trailer for a 20 min video video.

The vid confuses dynamic range compression with file compression and s such Sean should know better. It seems somewhat disingenuous that Harman is sort of pushing this as an altruistic action when is is actually promoting their new 'makes mp3s sound better' algorithm.
