Last year Signals celebrated their 20th anniversary with a summer bash. The Signals hi-fi show seemed to go down very well with visitors and exhibitors alike.
Now Back again Friday 29th and Saturday 30th August. Same weekend and venue as last year, The Trinity Events Centre in the Suffolk Show-ground. Unlimited parking and a lovely peaceful rural setting.
The plan is for the 2014 Audio Show East to be bigger and better. We have more rooms (an adjoining building is being added to the mix), more brands will be there and we hope to make this the not-to-be-missed Hi Fi event in the region.
We are exceedingly pleased to reveal that we will have an ultra high-end system incorporating the Naim Statement amplifier.
You can play with and listen to the new mu-so all-in-one system.
The Naim Label will have various Naim branded goods and music available to purchase.
There will also be a lounge area where you can sit and enjoy the Uniti products.
Focal loudspeakers will be very much in evidence too, with the Aria series complementing Uniti products and some Utopias for the Statement.
A selection of genius' (genii?) will be on hand from both Naim and Focal, so feel free to quiz them.
Oh, and finally, one brand spanking yet-to-be-released mu-so will be won in a free raffle at our event.
Last year, PMC irritated everyone by getting a stupidly good sound from one of the smallest systems at the show. The Rega Elicit-R, Apollo-R CD player and Twenty 22 loudspeakers really did sound marvellous.
They also launched the fact 12s, run on the end of a CD555 / 252 / 30 Naim and, in fairness, this sounded even better.
This year, the new Twenty 26 loudspeakers will, we gather, be the star turn.
It's great to be welcoming ARCAM back into Signals' portfolio.
There have been some terrific new products released in the last few months and quite a lot more are due to be launched.
Expect to be able to hear the forthcoming A49 high end integrated amplifier. We've had a play, it's excellent. They will also have the yet-to-be-released C49 + P49 pre-power combo. Both the A49 and P49 use class G technology.
The D33 DAC will be in use, as will be the budget A19 integrated amplifier, IR DAC, Air DAC and some Bluetooth receivers.
The 'biggie' is that we will have the UK debut of Arcam’s new disc spinner with in-built streamer.
Other exhibitors will include: Acoustic Energy, Chord Cables, Isoblue, Kudos, Rega, Roksan, Sennheiser, Trilogy . . .
