On the 28th and 29th May, running until late in the evenings, KJ hosted a London showroom launch of the Naim Statement amplifier driving the Focal Grande Utopia Be for invited guests, KJ customers and the Press. On a secondary display the new MUSO all-in-one was also demonstrated by Ryan Latham, Naim’s marketing director.

After the 33rd HIGH END exhibition in a row, one thing is clear: Munich is unsurpassed as the world’s most important location for high-quality consumer electronics with this leading exhibition.

A significant increase of exhibitors and exhibition space made this year’s HIGH END 2014 into the biggest show of its kind. A total of 452 exhibitors with approx. 900 brands attended this exhibition and their presence is an impressive testament to the role modern consumer electronics plays in the daily life of our society and is therefore met with great interest by all ages. Visitors flocked to the Munich MOC. The exhibition delighted roughly 18,000 visitors and proved to be a first-rate crowd puller yet again.

Larry Gullman co founder of MSB, California, dropped by before heading off to the Munich Show for next week. In a quirk of fate the booked MSB room had vanished from the organisers list leaving them no option but to run a static stand on the show floor. I was really hoping to hear the new select DAC at Munich and to my great good fortune he brought the show exhibit with him for me to try out with the current HIFICRITIC review system of D’Agostino Momentum paired with the Wilson Sasha Two.
