What makes you think that because something is 'digital' it is immune to vibration and or microphony ?

Some regard it as more sensitive since the timing issues with say 192 kHz 24bit are critical .

Vibration can result in board movement with variations in capacitance to chassis parts, modulating jitter.

Re-clocking is not the answer since the sensitive crystal resonator reference is also affected.

And if this were not to be the problem, then a vibrating digital unit will likely couple its vibration to the next analogue stage via the cable which may well be as, or more susceptible.

Cable are excellent longitudinal vibration transmitters unless designed to prevent this.
