Does anyone have any experience of the Teddy Pardo power supplies for Naim gear, eg the TeddyXPS ?

I havent but you will find legions who have at Pinkfishmedia. From what they say I gather very good but different to standard Naim. I'm not sure if they are talking about how they sound with the older olive box Naim or the more recent progression.

Yes I've read those comments. There seem to be very few adverse criticisms - as you say, good but different presentation. If I buy one (actually for a nDAC) I'll let you know...

I recently bid on a Superline with the intention of using one of these with it; the bidding went higher than I wanted to pay for the particular unit but haven't given up the idea for the future. I really wanted a Superline before I got my Basis Exclusive but the Supercap price was way too high in my mind; twice as much as the Superline itself.

The gain with the Supercap is so great as to make a different product in a different class

I tried living without the Supercap and could not .........

Hmm, I think I prefer the Superline straight off the preamp...

I should clarify the system context , no Naim pre , running to a foreigner, an ARC REF 5 with a custom SE to balanced adapted cable

Ah, ok, I never even think of a Superline outside of a Naim system context - D'oh!

I realise the importance of the power supply;that is why I ended up with the Basis. It has a 50 lb seperate battery power supply. Also I found a used one at 30% of the cost of a new one or a new Superline/Supercap. Also none of the effort of integrating a Naim into a non Naim system. Still, I would like to hear the Superline in my system.

I finally have the Superline/ TeddySuperCap combination going; slight delay due to TP forgetting to include Burndy cable. I forgive him as it sounds very impressive at a quarter of the Naim cost here in the US. Obviously not burned in yet but already as good as anything I have heard. Do not have access to a Naim SuperCap for comparison but at $6600 new it was a non starter. The TP was cheaper than a used SC by a considerable margin; more later.

I see that Teddy P now makes a DAC too - has anyone heard one?
