The Guitar was made by 12th Fret in Winchelsea near Rye. They are the official Gibson service centre and Luthiers. My son has been assisting James Collins for the last year as his assistant and this is their first custom electric guitar. It's quite a special guitar sound wise and beautifully made. It's also very light.

The guitar has been played for about a week now it's been finished and it's just lovely and very natural to hold and play. Well done James and Sam. Has anyone else had any custom made instruments built for them? I'm probably biased as my 15 year old son had a part in building and setting up the guitar.

I dont blame you being biased. Lovely job. I am a synthesiser man and I make bits for myself. I would share a picture with you of my latest, unfinished and unboxed blue meenie but I'm f**ked if I can ever work out how to attach a picture. Edited by user 17 April 2011 14:57:42(UTC)

Open a photobucket account and upload them. You can then copy the image code and paste it on your post. It's easy cos I can do it.
BTW I do like a bit of synth.

Thanks. It does work.......please excuse the "just taken on the kitchen table with an iPhone" look
A few mistakes on the panel and I might yet change the knobs to cover the pot nuts. I wont show you the back until its all tie-wraped and finished!!
