Who knows about Decca and Klooks Kleek in this period? working on the story of this legendary Jazz and R&B Club in London – Klooks Kleek, Railway Hotel on the corner of Broadhurst Gardens in West Hampstead, which flourished in the 1960s. we would like to hear from anyone who worked at the Decca Studios next door, (later home to English National Opera). Decca’s archive appears to have been lost or trashed – no one seems to know exactly what happened. Stories about working at the Studios or other people reminiscences would be most welcome.

Just spotted this topic today. Mr. Linnane, who was the landlord of The Railway Hotel during this period and who first let the function room to Dick Jordan, lives a few miles from me. I went to visit him yesterday and he and his wife Mary are in great form, with lots of stories from those days including one of telling John Lennon to take his feet down off the table when they came in for a drink after the Decca sessions!
