There is a new Devo album out, Something for Everybody. I can see it on CD for £9. No news in Rough Trade about a vinyl release but Amazon does have it down as a vinyl release. The problem here is the price.......£44!

I dont mind paying over the odds for a product that is bigger, it might cost more to make and has a shorter run but nearly 5 times the price is too much. The usual disparity is say £13 to £17. I will investigate.

Just picked it up at Rough Trade. £21.99, blue vinyl and the album on CD. I see most "big" releases from band who you wouldnt expect still to be releasing on vinyl priced at that sort of level. Normal vinyl releases are £12- £17, however they all appear to come with a slip of paper say thanks for buying vinyl, enter this code for a download version. Then again I also picked up "Powers of Audition" by Jonas Reinhardt on vinyl and that didnt have a slip of paper!!
