I am a big fan of daft Punk so I am very excited about this. There are rumours of a tour next year as well which if it is anything like the last one will be mind blowingly good!

Thats a good recommendation.
Dance acts are tricky live. You might love the music but the inevitable "2 geezers behind kit" isnt always great to look at. Nothing wrong with just enjoying the music but the 2 geezers havent even got bandmates to back them up. So the alternative is a "good show" but I would rather not have a Take That spectacular- its the music and not the show I am interested in. But from what you say and what I know about Daft Punk they will but on a good and interesting show.
A couple of acts i've seen that have a modest but good live show are Simian Mobile Disco and Shy Child. Shy Child have a new album and should be touring again soon. Hopefully they will all go to Bri'sl too!!

Well you really had to be there to get the full experience but as far as tow guys 'just standing there' goes, it doesn't get any better than this: http://www.youtube.com/user/daftpunkalive?blend=1&ob=4#p/u/4/oGECJP3phyY Been lucky to see them twice and I consider both occasions the pinnacle of my time on this planet! I very nearly exploded at the 5:20 point in this video (watch from 5:00): http://www.youtube.com/user/daftpunkalive?blend=1&ob=4#p/f/4/axxaEbp2ZkU
