CJ has discontinued ALL of their SS equipment. Only tube and hybrid now available. I had intended to get a 350 ever since I read the Critic review but thought I had plenty of time. A couple of days ago I checked the web site and no 350, 200 etc. I called them and they confirmed it. Just got a 350 on Audiogon, any of you who want any of their SS should act now. I realize that they are correspondingly higher over there but they are still not out of reason compared to some others. Perhaps Critic can look at the new Hybrid 250? I have no idea of how being discontinued will affect the price but have a feeling that the 350 at least may well rise in value. Too bad Musical Fidelity didn't make it. I just got their Kw line stage and phono stage used and paid about a third of American retail; good gear too, especially if you price it by the pound [weight that is, they are heavy puppies].

Seems they are focusing on their niche tube market. I, too, after hearing about the discontinued 350 also grabbed one off A'gon. It's an incredible amp, and I'm surprised they halted production. I now have a CT-5 heading my way!

Seems a shame as the 350 is an amazing amp

For now I have moved on to a Krell Evo 402.
was about to re-review it as it had improved after early production output, but now holding fire for the 402e
350 failed the Sasha but drove almost all else, and sonically lasted a good long time with me though did need repairs .

The one I picked up is serial no.8101010. Since CJ is not famous for the quality of their RCA jacks and binding posts I intend to replace them. I have a couple of female WBT RCAs in the parts drawer already, any recommendations for binding posts besides WBT? I can get parts from CJ and have a very competent technician to do the work if there is any changes that Martin or other users can recommend. I intend to keep it indefinitely so don't mind some expense.

I think what will work practically with your cable connections as well as fitting the hardware are of importance as well as the sound. I like the Eichman Pods, Cardas Patented posts, and the latest WBT Nextgens for their simple conduction approach, but no idea which will sound the best. The WBTs were just too expensive for me. Regards David
